Minnesota pharmacy technicians are required to register with the Minnesota state board of pharmacy for $20. Registration is renewed
annually. There are no CE, training, nor examination requirements for Minnesota pharmacy technicians. The maximum pharmacy technician to
pharmacist ratio in Minnesota is 2 to 1 for both ambulatory and institutional settings under conditions outlined by the Minnesota state board
of pharmacy. The Minnesota state board of pharmacy may deny, suspend, revoke, or restrict your registration as a pharmacy technician.
