Nevada pharmacy technicians are required to register for $40 and this registration has to be renewed biennially. Nevada pharmacy
technicians have to pass the PTCB exam and complete 500 hours of employment as a pharmacy technician trainee. I lieu of this PTCB and
500 hours, you may complete a board approved study course or reciprocate your pharmacy technician registration from another state. Nevada
pharmacy technicians also have to be at least 18 years of age. Finally, Nevada pharmacy technicians are
required to have a high school diploma or GED. The Nevada state board of pharmacy may deny, revoke, restrict, or suspend your
registration as a pharmacy technician. The maximum pharmacy technician to pharmacist ratio in Nevada is 2 to 1.

Las Vegas pharmacy technicians with less than 4 years of experience make an average salary of $12.08 to $15.53 per hour. Las Vegas pharmacy
technicians with 4 or more years of experience make an average salary of $14.55 to $17.49 per hour.
